About Us
Mission
Born out of the desire to work together again, ensemble113 was formed by a group of alumni from Niles North Theatre (2007 Recipient of Kennedy Center Award for Arts Education). Spanning five graduating classes, the ensemble has gone on to participate in theatre at top universities including: Columbia College, DePaul University, Drake University, Illinois State University, New York University, Northwestern University, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. Ensemble members have also worked with prominent Chicago theatres such as Northlight, Steppenwolf, and Chicago Shakespeare.
While the ensemble shares a common Niles North Theatre foundation, each member brings with them newfound perspective and expertise. The fusion of old and new skills allows the ensemble to function as a unit and produce quality theatre.
